ART DIRECTOR
1998 - 1999

I went to Prague in 1998 to become Art Director
of the Czech edition of Elle magazine. The
magazine was the country's top-selling fashion
title and I oversaw a staff of three, comprising
two designers and a picture editor. I was in
charge of all visual aspects of the magazine
and art directed both editorial and fashion
shoots, working with local designers, stylists
and photographers. In the year that I was there
I also carried out a successful redesign, which
was launched on the magazine's fifth anniversary.
